A week after dropping the third beta of iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2, Apple has released the fourth beta of the OSes to developers on the beta channel. Like the previous beta release, this release is also all about bug fixes and stability improvements.

The first beta of iOS 13.2 had introduced Deep Fusion for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro while the second beta brought about a host of other improvements. It is likely that Apple is focusing on bug fixes and stability improvements with the third beta release of iOS 13.2.

New Unc0ver 3.7.0 Jailbreak Update Brings Plenty of A12 Specific Fixes

The unc0ver team is out with a new update for Unc0ver jailbreak that fixes some issues primarily affecting A12 Bionic devices like the 2018 iPad Pro and the iPhone XS.

With the last major update to Unc0ver, the team had added jailbreak support for A12 Bionic devices like the iPhone XS, 2018 iPad Pro, and the iPhone XR running iOS 12.4. The release was relatively stable and good enough for daily use. With the latest release of Unc0ver, the team is fixing some of the lingering bugs in their jailbreak tool that has been reported by users.

Below is a list of all the changes in the latest release of Unc0ver 3.7.0 b2 and b3:

A12 fixes for GPS

Full-fledged AMFI/CT Bypass

Fix for memory management issues

Safari tweaks

Fixes for Face ID, App Store on A12 devices

Fixes for shutdown, reboot, and stability issues

If your iPhone or iPad is jailbroken and still running iOS 12.4, you can simply download the latest release of Unc0ver and jailbreak your device again to get all these improvements.

With iOS 13 already released by Apple, we are not going to see much action on the jailbreaking front for iOS 12. Most of the jailbreak developers have now turned their attention to the checkm8 exploit which can be used to create a permanent jailbreak for almost all iPhones starting from the iPhone 4s to iPhone X irrespective of the iOS version they are running. Also Read:Factory Reset iPhone with or without iTunes

Spotify Testing Siri Integration with iOS 13

Spotify is currently beta testing a version of its iOS app with Siri integration. The app is taking advantage of the new APIs that Apple has introduced in iOS 13 that allows media apps to integrate with Siri.

What this means is that Siri will treat Spotify as a first-class app just like Apple Music. Previously, you could only tell Siri a generic command like play music on Spotify and could not specify the artist/album.

Once the beta update is released, you will be able to tell Siri to “Play Maroon 5 on Spotify.” You will have to add “on Spotify” at the end of every voice command as otherwise Siri will try and start playing the music on Apple Music. The feature will work on the AirPods as well but not on the Apple Watch as the wearable’s Spotify app is just a controller and not a full app.

Spotify had earlier this year lashed out at Apple with its ‘Time to Play Fair’ campaign in which it highlighted how the company was using its position to give Apple Music advantage. It is probably that push from Spotify which has led Apple to open up SiriKit for third-party media player apps. Also Read: torrentcrazy proxy

Spotify is currently testing Siri integration in beta and should release it to the public within the next few weeks. If you cannot wait to try out Siri’s integration with other music players, you can try out Pandora which has already updated its iOS app with Siri integration.
